Your site is huge. I read your thoughts about discrete & continuous aspects of space-time. I'd say you are right; both seem necessary to describe the universe. I've written a few things myself. Something not yet linked to my home page that I think you'll find interesting: http://www.martinelli.org/Expansion.PDF Regards Jack Martinelli |

Record 850 Name: Wu Li Website: Referred by: Net Search From: central virginia, usa Time: 1998-09-04 21:33:31 Comments: Great site. I've looked all over the web for a site covering modern theoretical physics from a non-professional and non-mathematical perspective. Unlike any other site I've come across, this one does so without leaving out a single juicy detail. It may get over my head from time to time, but that just encourages me to learn more! Thanks, and keep up the good work. |

Record 848 Name: Debbie Oney Website: CJD Voice Referred by: Clicked on a 'Guestbooks by GuestWorld' Button From: Illinois Time: 1998-09-03 23:58:03 Comments: Really interesting website. Your nght job sounds very interesting. Come read about another science subject. I want to invite everyone to the CJD Voice website. Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease is a horrendous infectious fatal braiin-deteriorating disease One strain, nvCJD, is related to Mad Cow Disease in England. We have classical CJD in the US. 13% of Alzheimer patients in 1 study were found on autopsy to have CJD. Some cases are genetic. Some the cause is unknown. People have gotten CJD from contaminated cadaver-derived growth hormones (GH), surgical equipment since normal sterilization doesn't kill the infectious agent and from dura mater (used in brain surgery and other surgeries) and cornea transplants Come visit the CJD Voice website to learn more about CJD, mad cow disease and prions. |
